PMC-Sierra, a provider of broadband communications and storage semiconductors, announced the appointment of Robert M. Liszt to the position of Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Mr. Liszt was most recently the Vice President of Worldwide Sales, North America at Agere Systems. Prior to joining Agere Systems, he held senior management positions at several companies including NEC Electronics and Hitachi America Semiconductor. Mr. Liszt is the successor of Thomas Brigiotta, who left the company.
