Wolfson Microelectronics announces the appointment of Alistair Banham as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales. He takes over the role from Jim Reid who has been acting in this role over the past year alongside his on-going business development responsibilities. Banham joins Wolfson from Philips Semiconductor where he served as the Senior Vice President & General Manager Regional Sales and Operations EMEA. He joined Philips in 2002 from ON Semiconductor, prior to ON Semi Banham was at Motorola Semiconductor Products Sector since 1992.
