Quimonda is withdrawing from the 200mm production at Infineon Dresden from March 2008. Infineon will in future ony produce the logic components at this site. The results of this withdrawal will be a smaller loading so that a personnel transfer from Infineon Dresden to Quimonda will be considered In Dresden. Infineon will concentrate on ICs with 250 to 90 nm which are used in automobile, security and communication applications.
