Nu Horizons with Austrian subsidiary 20-08-07


Nu Horizons, the American semiconductor distributor has opened an Austrian subsidiary in Vienna under the leadership of the 44 year-old Herbert Maierhofer. Maierhofer comes from EBV where he worked as Application Engineer. The Nu Horizons Electronics Corp. entered the European market in August 2006 with the acquisition of DT Electronics in Great Britain. The German subsidiary opened its Munich office on the 1st of May 2007 and bought out the Dacom-Süd Company, also of Munich, the following month.
