Oxford Semiconductor acquires Transdimension 06-10-05

Oxford Semiconductor announced its acquisition of Transdimension, a provider of USB connectivity solutions for embedded applications. Also the team will join Oxford Semiconductor. Formerly headquartered in the UK, Oxford has relocated its headquarters to Milpitas, Calif. The company will maintain its UK Design Center as well as its regional offices in North America, Singapore and Taiwan. Transdimension's Irvine-based facilities will remain in place. Transdimension-CEO Rick Goerner will become senior vice president of sales and marketing at Oxford.
