Panasonic Batteries in Europe has announced a change in leadership. Toshiro Tsuchiya who was Deputy Managing Director at Panasonic Marketing Europe will become the new president of Panasonic Energy Corporation Europe (PECE). He will take over the responsibilities of Peter Coonen who has left the organisation at his own request after more than 25 years service.

In addition Jörg Toboll who was Sales and Marketing manager at PECE will become vice president. Finn Roedel who has been responsible for the sales and marketing of batteries to the retail trade in Germany since 2008 has also taken over responsibility for the business in Austria. Panasonic Energy Europe is part of the Panasonic Corporation. Its product range includes among others oxyride, alkali, zinc-carbon, photo lithium, silver oxide and zinc air batteries as well as button cells and accumulators.
