PCIM Europe 2011 has opened 19-05-11


The power electronics trade fair PCIM opened in Nuremberg on the 17th May with 298 exhibitors and a further 67 represented companies. The companies, of which 56% are international, are presenting their products and services from the fields of power electronics, drive technology and power quality. The trade fair runs for three days and has exhibition space of 13,300 square metres.

 

The number of exhibitors attending the trade fair has increased by 20%. Most of the exhibitors coming to Germany are from the USA, followed by Great Britain, France and Italy. The number of Chinese companies in attendance has doubled compared with 2011. For the first time there is a common China exhibition stand.
