QNX Software Systems announced the appointment of Derek Kuhn as vice president of sales and marketing. Before joining QNX, Kuhn held multiple roles at Alcatel-Lucent, most recently as vice president of emerging technology and media.
From 2003 to 2006, he served as chairman of the non-profit Broadband Content Delivery Forum, which acts as a liason between service providers and content communities. He also served as a board member of the University of Southern California’s Entertainment Technology Center in the School of Cinematic Arts from 2008 to 2010.
