Murata Power Solutions has introduced two families of radial lead format inductors. These general purpose devices are dedicated for providing filtering in a wide range of designs such as those found in power supply applications. The 1100R series has overall dimensions of 4.0mm diameter x 5.5mm, is offered with inductance values ranging from 1.0µH to 470µH and has maximum current ratings of 0.14A to 3.0A. The 1300R series measures 8.0mm diameter x 10mm, has inductance values of 1.5µH to 68mH, and maximum current ratings between 0.04A and 6.3A. The two devices are RoHS compliant and fully backward compatible with Sn/Pb soldering systems. Custom value parts are available and operating temperature range is -40ºC to +85ºC.
