RoboCup 2006: eleven German world masters 20-06-06

Eleven of 33 gold medals, which were contested in the RoboCup 2006 in Bremen, remain in Germany. The second strongest was China with nine gold medals –place three in the medal games was Japan with six medals and place four was Iran with five. The first and second place in the crowd’s favourites – the Four Legged League – was occupied by Australia. The best Humanoid speaks Japanese: the Kid Size Robot from Osaka. There were 15,270 visitors and the organisers of the RoboCup report that altogether 2613 robot experts participated in the league. The Robocup 2007 will be held in Atlanta.
