For instance, products from Panasonic, Tyco Electronics, Vishay, AVX, Epcos, Murata, Arcol and Bourns have all been reduced. The SMD 16VDC film capacitors from Panasonic, for example, are now available from 9 cents each. The NTC SMD 0402 NTC thermistors from Murata have been reduced in price by up to 49 percent and are available at a unit price of 6 cents. Potentiometers were also reduced in price: 2W wire-wound potentiometers from Vishay are available from 5.80 Euros each. This equates to a price reduction of 24 percent.
