Schurter has bought Otto Heil 08-03-06

The Schurter Holding AG has taken over the Otto Heil AG domiciled in Oberursel, Germany. For more than 50 years Otto Heil has developed, produced and sold device terminal connectors and connecting lines. In its Oberursel work, the company employs more than 40 workers and last year achieved a turnover of 4.5 m Euro. Schurter was founded in 1993 in Switzerland, employs approximately 1100 people throughout the world and had a turnover in 2004 of 100 m Euro. The taken-over company will be an independent competence centre of Schurter. The purchase price was not made public.
