Less turnover, no profit

In the second quarter 2005, Synopsys achieved a turnover of 244.4 M US$, and a loss of 4.9 million US$. The turnover sank by 16% in comparison to the second quarter of the previous year. However, then the company was able to book a profit of 28.7 million US$.
