Altera announced second quarter 2007 sales of $319.7 million, up 5 percent from the first quarter of 2007 and down 4 percent from the second quarter of 2006. New products grew 26 percent sequentially. Net income was $80.5 million, compared with net income of $77.3 million in the second quarter of 2006.
