Second Quarter 2008 at Analog Devices 23-05-08

In the second quarter 2008, Analog Devices achieved a turnover of 649.3 m US$ and thus increased its previous year results by 8.7%. The net profit was 133.1 m US$. Compared to the previous year this was an increase of 6.1%. The sales of analogue modules increased by 8% in comparison to the same quarter of the previous year. The company made 90% of its total turnover with these devices The sales of converter ICs improved by 9% and this product group generated 46% of all income in the second quarter. The amplifier modules represented 23% of the total profit and grew by 10%. Standard DSPs contributed 9% to the turnover and thus improved by 18% compared to Q2/2007.
