Book-to-Bill ratio semiconductor market in Germany, Source: ZVEI

The turnover of semiconductor in Germany in April 2007 was approximately the same as in the previous month. It was also at the level of April 2006 after minus 1% in March and minus 6% in February as is reported by the German ZVEI Association Electronic Components and Systems. The trade association assumes that the market will stabilize. The improving growth values are partly the result of the low comparison values of the previous year. Also new and unexpectedly good micro-processor values in Germany and much better values of discrete semiconductors are factors in the positive expectations. Cumulated, the growth in Germany in the first four months of the year 2007 was unchanged compared to the same period of the previous year.
