The ZVEI (Zentralverband Elektrotechnik- und Elektronikindustrie) [Central Association Electro-Technology and Electronic Industry) has announced a turnover for semiconductors for the month of August 2005 that is again slightly above that of the previous month. In comparison to August 2004 there was a decrease of 3% after -1% in July and -1% in June. There has been an improvement of orders. Accumulated, the growth in Germany in the first eight months was +1% compared to the previous year. The Book-to-Bill ratio in the past month with a value of 1.03 was further above 1.00.
