Semiconductor market in Germany: Book-to-Bill-Ratio (Please click for greater picture)

The turnover for semiconductors in Germany in November, according to a ZVEI study, was much less than in the previous month. However, it was 9 % more than in the comparable month of the previous year after being 8 % more in December and 9 % more in November. The association expects only low single-figure growth for the year 2005. Similar expectations are also made of the worldwide growth, whereby the ZVEI sees a better development in Europe than in all other regions. The medium-term trend has improved in the previous month, but with a value of 0.96 is still below the mark of 1.00.
