Sigma Designs, a provider of digital media processing SoC solutions for consumer electronics, announced the appointment of David Lynch as its Senior Vice President of a newly combined sales and marketing department. Mr. Lynch was previously the general manager of Sigma’s VXP Division. From June of 2000 to February of 2008, he served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Video Products Division of Gennum Corporation, a developer of mixed signal and video processing products for the consumer and professional markets. In January 2008 Sigma acquired Gennum's Image Processing Business.
