The Minitec range of cases by OKW Gehäusesysteme GmbH is available in 2 basic designs (E and D) as standard, and each case consists of a top and a bottom part as well as an intermediate ring. The latter not only accommodates the strap loops and eyelets for attaching the cases, but its material properties (TPE) also allow a pleasant touch sensation and at the same time provide impact protection for the end device. Any necessary boards or components are installed by clamping them in the bottom part of the case; the location bases are already permanently integrated. The standard colours used are off-white (RAL 9002) and a lava colour (NCS S 7502- B) made of high-quality ABS (UL 94 HB) as well as a black infrared-permeable PMMA (Plexiglas®). The TPE intermediate ring is not only available in the standard case colours but also in four other trendy colours: volcano NCS 5502-G, orange NCS S 1070-Y40R, green NCS S 1070 G60Y and blue NCS S 1060-B), but individual corporate designs are also possible depending on the customer's specifications.

As described above, this range of small cases is available in 2 different basic versions. The Minitec E have dimensions of 52 x 32 x 15 mm and 68 x 42 x 18 mm (L x W x H); it is also been available in a larger version with dimensions of 78 x 48 x 20 mm. The Minitec D has a drop shape derived from nature, in the standard dimensions of 51 x 32 x 13 mm, 70 x 44 x 16 mm and the very latest version in 84 x 47 x 19 mm.
