Small rotary DIP switches 04-06-09

Omron Electronics Components Business (OCB-EU) has introduced a range of twenty ultra-miniature rotary DIP switches that use just half the board space compared to its existing ranges. The compact devices provide a solution to store settings in telecommunications systems, consumer and industrial electronics. The A6K and A6KS series are 7.2mm x 7.2mm square, and are offered in a comprehensive range of styles and configurations. Permutations offered include top or side-actuation with a flat rotor or an extended shaft. All styles are available with 10 or 16 switching positions, and provide outputs coded to BCD / hexadecimal 1-2-4-8 code.

All of these configurations are available in through hole (A6K) or surface mounting (A6KS) form. A6K and KS series switches feature gold plated contacts for high reliability, and are rated for use with currents of 25mA at up to 24V. The new additions complement Omron’s standard rotary and piano style DIP switch ranges. All DIP switches conform to RoHS regulations, and are supplied on sticks or on embossed tape for automatic placement.
