Japanese manufacturer, Honda Connectors announces the launch of a range of connectors designed to simplify installation and provide reliable operation in solar panel applications.Available in single or dual versions, the RZM cable-to-cable power connectors are rated for applications up to 20 Amps, 1000VDC. These robust, IP67-approved connectors feature a high retention force and are TUV approved, with qualification to UL, IEC and US NEC standards pending. The design of the RZM series allows on-site installation, with a crimp required for connection to 10, 12 or 14 AWG cable. The hand-operated locking mechanism provides a withdrawal force of 89N, to protect against accidental disconnects, whilst an optional holding fixture ensures additional security against manual withdrawal by requiring a special release tool. Honda Connectors also supply a junction box for use on the rear of the Solar Panel.
