Spectrum Control, a manufacturer of custom electronic products and systems, announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets and assume certain liabilities of Sage Laboratories, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Ceralta Technologies.
Sage Labs, with operations in Hudson, NH, designs and manufactures custom RF and microwave components and subsystems including filters, diplexers, multiplexers, hybrids, and digital frequency discriminators.
The transaction is expected to close before the end of June. Current annualized revenues of Sage Labs' products are approximately $12 million.
For the fiscal year 2009, Spectrum Control had net income of $8.6 million or on sales of $132.3 million.
