STMicroelectronics closed the 1st quarter 2010 with a turnover (including ST-Ericsson) of 2.325 billion US$ which is 40.1% above the results of the same period of the previous year. The net profit was 57 million US$ compared with a net loss of 451 million US$ in the 1st quarter 2009.
