With its STM8S-Discovery Kit, STMicroelectronics offers a starter development board based on the 8-Bit STM8 micro-controller family. The controllers are used in automotive, industry and energy-saving applications. Within the framework of a special promotion, STMicroelectronics will give away 5000 of these kits at the Embedded World fair to be held in Nuremberg from the 2nd to the 4th of March.

The development package was nominated for this year’s Embedded Award. STM can be found at the fair in Hall 12 on stand 12-330. Under the second link STM offers registration for free entry to the fair.
