In the second business quarter 2008, STMicroelectronics sold semiconductors to the value of 2.39 billion US$. This is an increase of 9.7% compared to the previous quarter and 14.6% more than in the comparable quarter in 2007. The losses were reduced to 47 million US$ (Q2 2007 -758 million US$).
