Tantalum chip capacitors with temperature capabilities of 150°C 28-07-06

Vishay announced the release of molded solid tantalum chip capacitors, designed to provide high-temperature capabilities of 150°C with 50% voltage derating. The capacitors are optimized for a wide variety of high-temperature automotive uses. These molded-case capacitors are available in five case codes, sizes A through E, per EIA-535BAAC.

Part of Vishay’s Tantamount tantalum capacitor family, the devices released today have a capacitance range of 0.33 μF to 100 μF and a voltage range from 10 V to 50 V. The surface-mount TH3 capacitors are available in standard EIA tape-and-reel packages that are compatible with high-volume automatic pick-and-place equipment. RoHS-compliant tin or gold and Sn/Pb terminations are available.
