Teradyne acquires Nextest Systems 12-12-07

Teradyne will acquire Nextest for approximately $325 million. Teradyne is a provider of System-On-Chip test products. Nextest’s core business is the design and manufacture of flash memory test products. Nextest announced revenue of $95.8 million in calendar year 2006. Upon closing, which is expected in the first quarter of 2008, Nextest will be run as a business unit within Teradyne’s Semiconductor Test Division.
