The SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2009 trade fair opens 26-11-09

The SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2009 trade fair opened in Nuremberg on the 24.11.09. The main themes at this year’s event are Energy Efficiency, Industrial Identification and Safety and Security. This year 1,237 companies are exhibiting in eleven halls covering 89,000 m². Organisers are putting the drop on the previous year (1,386 exhibitors) down to the fact that many smaller companies have decided against participating in the trade fair. Of the total number of companies exhibiting 972 are from Germany while 265 are from abroad. The most strongly represented foreign exhibitors are companies from Italy, Switzerland and Austria as well as China and Taiwan.

The next SPS/IPC/DRIVES trade fair will take place in Nuremberg from the 23rd to the 25th November 2010.
