In the third quarter 2005, Synopsys achieved a turnover of 251.5 M US$, and a net profit (GAAP) of 17.3 million US$. 53% of the revenues came from North America, 16% from Europe, 16% from Japan and 15% from Asia/Pazific. The turnover sank by 11% in comparison to the third quarter of the previous year. The profit sank by 59%.
