Ansoft announced financial results for its third quarter of fiscal 2007 ended January 2007. Revenue for the third quarter totaled $22.7 million, an increase of 16% compared to $19.7 million reported in the previous fiscal year's third quarter. On a generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) basis, net income for the third quarter was $6.3 million, representing a 48% increase when compared to GAAP net income of $4.3 million in the previous fiscal year's third quarter.
