In a Top Ten ranking of the semiconductor suppliers for the first quarter 2005 issued by the electronic market analyst iSuppli, Renesas and Toshiba with the highest turnover increases have moved up three and two places respectively as compared to the fourth quarter 2004. The three European suppliers, Infineon, STMicroelectronics and Philips Semiconductor moved down due to poor performance: Infineon and STMicroelectronics dropped by two and Philips by one position.
