Transmeta has initiated a process to seek a potential sale of the Company. The Company has entered into two agreements with Intel for the licensing of certain Transmeta technologies and intellectual property and for the accelerated payment of its receivables from Intel, which will result in a one-time, non-refundable payment of $91.5 million in the third quarter of 2008. This year, Transmeta will collect $265 million of cash payments for intellectual property and patents. In 2007 the Transmeta revenue was $ 2.48 million. The net loss was $ 63.2 million. In the first half year 2008 the revenue was $ 1.03 million and the net income was $173.000.
