Linear Technology introduces the LTC1728H-5, a triple supply voltage monitor that guarantees operation across -40°C to 125°C. The chip monitors 5V, 3.3V and one adjustable trip threshold set with an external resistive divider network. Drawing 10µA (typ) from the supplies it monitors.

The LTC1728 offers 1.5% threshold accuracy over which reset can occur, decreasing the overall voltage margin required for reliable system operation. This, along with power supply glitch filtering, ensures predictable reset operation without false triggering. Whenever one of the three monitored voltages falls below its threshold, a common open-drain reset output asserts and remains low until all three supplies are in compliance for at least 200ms.
