Tyco Electronics: New chief for the AMP Netconnect Business 15-08-07

Tyco Electronics has named Steve Mitchell as vice president of the company's AMP Netconnect business in its network solutions segment. This business manufactures communications infrastructure systems and products for customer-owned networks in market segments including government, education, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, residential, power and technology.

 

Before being named to this position at Tyco Electronics, Mitchell served for several years as vice president of sales, global marketing and customer service for ADC Telecommunications. Prior to that, he spent 13 years in several management positions at Marconi Communications -- including vice president of sales for major markets, vice president of sales for access systems, and vice president of sales for strategic accounts and emerging markets. He began his career with Burndy Corporation and JJM Sales.
