Jungo Software Technologies, a provider of USB/PCI software solutions, announced the release of version 7.02 of its driver development toolkits WinDriver USB/PCI - for cross operating system and multiple architecture host driver development, and WinDriver USB Device - for USB firmware code generation.
The release supports the Microchip PIC18F4550 development board and includes automated firmware and driver code generation. WinDriver 7.02 also includes support for the latest Linux kernels up to 2.6.13, for both 32bit and 64bit architectures, and a option to define an interrupt mask in the kernel-mode interrupt transfer commands for PCI based devices.
Jungo offers a free, full-featured, 30 day evaluation version of WinDriver USB/PCI for host driver development and WinDriver USB Device for firmware code generation. Both tools are available for download (see URI below).
