MCCI Corporation, announced the availability of its USB host software stack for the USB 3.0 Extensible Host Controller Interface (xHCI) Host Controller. The xHCI specification provides a standardized method for USB 3.0 host controllers to communicate with the USB 3.0 software stack. USB 3.0 will support data rates up to 5Gbps. The MCCI host stack provides support for Windows 2000 through Windows 7 on 32- and 64-bit systems. Robustness of the MCCI software stack is measured and assured by MCCI's proven suite of test tools that support integration into any desired platform. Release to market is expected in second quarter 2009.
