18-08-06
Jungo Software Technologies announced that its USB/PCI driver development toolkit, WinDriver, now supports the latest Windows Vista operating system. WinDriver developers can now port their existing drivers to Windows Vista without making any modifications to their driver code base. WinDriver 8.10 includes support for Windows Vista Beta 2 (and later) on x86 and x64 architectures. WinDriver has been adapted and tested on the latest beta versions of Vista with the plan to support the official release as soon as it becomes generally available. The Vista support will be part of the standard WinDriver for Windows package, enabling customers with a valid support subscription to get the upgrade free of charge. WinDriver 8.10 also includes a built-in WinDriver symbol file required for getting the drivers digitally signed with Microsoft WHQL. New version enhancements include performance improvement of the DMA synchronization functions and support for over 4GB mapped configuration spaces.
Jungo offers a free, full-featured, 30 days evaluation version of WinDriver USB/PCI for host driver development and WinDriver USB Device for firmware code generation.
