Vicor announces the appointment of Catalin Tachiciu as Regional Sales Manager Germany, Switzerland and Denmark and Hannes Schachenmayr to Regional Sales Manager Eastern Europe. Tachiciu, 45, joins Vicor from Rohm Semiconductor, where he served as Distribution Manager for the EMEA region. He also worked for Analog Devices and Premier Farnell. Hannes Schachenmayer, who was one of the founding employees of the German office, has created a distributor network over the past 14 years. This appointment will allow him to focus on the fast growing Eastern European territories.
