Weidmüller acquires Brazilian Conexel 03-03-11

Weidmüller, international provider of products and solutions for electrical connectivity and electronics with headquarters in Germany/ Detmold, announced the acquisition of Conexel Conexões Elétricas, a Brazilian company in the same market.

 

The new company will be named Weidmüller Conexel do Brasil. It will be a supplier of connectivity and electronic components building. Weidmüller Conexel do Brasil plans to achieve strong double digit growth in the next years.

 

Both companies have worked together since the foundation of the Brazilian company in 1975. For the last years Conexel held exclusive sales rights of Weidmüller products in the Brazilian market.
