Wireless Power Platform with up to 20W of power 09-02-12

RRC has developed custom wireless power solutions from 5W up to 500W. For standard platforms, they currently have available a Qi compliant Wireless Power Platform with 5W of power, and are now offering the next generation solution, with a range of 12 to 20W. The platform is available with an output voltage of 12 to 20V and a maximum current of 1A. It is designed to meet the guidelines of IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2, so it may be used in an industrial and/or consumer-oriented application, as well as in the medical field.

The platform consists of a transmitter and receiver with a corresponding pair of coils with a diameter of 4 cm. The shape of the coils can be different. The receiver can be powered using direct energy (AC/DC) as well as by a battery, designed into the application. A variety of operating data and safety features are integrated into the modular units and can also be transmitted wirelessly.
