Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) as of December 31, 2008, were positive at USD 7.2 million (EUR 4.9 million). This compares to USD 46.7 million in the previous year. X-FAB recorded earnings before taxes of USD 4.8 million (EUR 3.3 million) for the year, compared to USD 38.7 million the previous year.
