X-Fab recorded sales of USD 85.4 million in the first quarter of 2007, up 53.0 percent from the same period last year. This growth is due primarily to expansion achieved through X-FAB Sarawak. The Malaysian site was not included in the consolidated figures until September 2006. Compared to the fourth quarter of 2006, which includes X-FAB Sarawak, sales increased by approximately 11.5 percent. Net income for the first quarter was USD 6.8 million. This corresponds to an increase of 17.1 percent. X-FAB's acquisition of ZFoundry at the end of March 2007 is not included in the figures for the first quarter because the consolidation took effect April 1, 2007.
