Epcos has increased its turnover in the financial year 2006 by 14% to 1.31 billion Euro. For the whole company there was an annual profit of 21 million Euro, which was reduced due to the Tantal condensers sale to Kemet at a loss of 14 million Euro. In the fourth quarter 2006 the turnover climbed by 6% to 350 million Euro. In the capacitors and inductivities it was 15% above the previous year’s value with 125 million Euro. In the segment of ceramic components the turnover was increased by 6% to 114 million Euro. The OFW components segment was able to increase its turnover compared to last year by 9% to 111 million Euro. For the whole business, the profit after taxes in the fourth quarter was approximately 10 million Euro.
