The Harting Technologiegruppe closed the business year 2006/2007 (1 October 2006 to 30 September 2007) with a double-digit growth. The worldwide 345 m Euro turnover was increased by a good 10% over that of the previous year. In Europe the turnover was 259 m Euro which was an increase of 10% over the previous year. In the Asiatic market the turnover increased by 16 %. In October 2007, the company opened a new production site in Zhuhai (China). A new factory was also opened in Sibiu in Rumania. The number of employees throughout the world increased in the business year by 17.5% from 2,434 to 2,859.
