Zilog announced the strengthening of his senior management team with the addition of Rick Bosshardt as the company's vice president of worldwide distribution sales. Bosshardt comes to Zilog from Freescale Semiconductor Corporation where he served as vice president of global distribution. Prior to Freescale, he served as vice president of worldwide distribution sales for Microchip. A dual citizen of the United States and Switzerland, Bosshardt has an international track record. He served as managing director of Waferscale Integration Europe and held senior international management positions at Ramtron and Motorola.
