ZMD AG (ZMDI), the Dresden based supplier of analog and mixed-signal solutions for automotive, industrial, medical and consumer applications announced the result of financial year 2011. According to ZMDI’s preliminary figures, it generated revenues of 64 million euro, reflecting an increase of 16 percent over the previous year (2010: 55.1 million Euro). The 2011 growth can be attributed primarily to demand for energy-efficient automotive products and solutions.

The company generated significantly higher earnings (EBIT) in 2011; based on preliminary numbers, it generated earnings of approximately 4.5 million euro, reflecting an increase of 3.5 million euro over the 2010 earnings. This growth has translated into several new employment positions as well new sales and engineering locations throughout Europe and the United States.
